Hello! I’m Ellen, the founder and poet behind lettersfromus.

When planning my own wedding, I wanted every guest to feel special. I loved the idea of something personal that doubled as a place name and wedding favour (and could fit in a suitcase!).

So, I started writing little four-line poems about our favourite people. Just 48 hours after the wedding, lettersfromus was born!

Since then, I’ve written thousands of poems for weddings, special occasions and some pretty amazing brands along the way, including ASOS, TALA and Charlotte Tilbury.

From inside jokes and questionable habits to the memories that mean the most, I love finding the little details that make someone them.

And really, that's what it's always been about. Making people feel seen, celebrated and loved, four lines at a time.
